# Latch is going live in beta

**Latch is a platform for shipping your own Launchpad or DEX.** You pick a name, a theme and your fee wallet, send one transaction, and your site is live on shared, verified contracts. The site is open today. The app opens with the beta.

## What is live today

- **The whole app on testnet.** [testnet.latches.fun](https://testnet.latches.fun/app?ref=blog.latches.fun) is open to everyone. Test ETH is free, and testnet tokens have no value.
- **A demo Launchpad and a demo DEX.** Both were built with the same kit every Latch site uses.
- **The Locker and Airdrops.** Public pages that show what is locked and what can be claimed, with no wallet needed to look.

On the [demo DEX](https://testnet.latches.fun/p/latch-swap?ref=blog.latches.fun) you can swap, read charts and trades, and add liquidity.

## What a launch on Latch gives you

- **A real pool from the first block.** No bonding curve and no migration later.
- **Liquidity locked at creation.** The lock has no expiry and no key that opens it.
- **Anti-snipe protection that ends by itself.** The fee can open as high as 50% and decays to the pool's normal fee. The window is at least 60 seconds.
- **An optional creator tax with a hard ceiling.** At most 10% per side, and it expires within 180 days.
- **A known opening market cap.** The launch form starts from market cap and shows the price that results.
- **Your token's own icon everywhere.** Launch tiles, the ticker, swap and the markets table.

## What a site owner gets

- **Your own Launchpad or DEX in one transaction**, with your wallet, your fee terms and your brand.
- **Twelve theme packs**, including four new trading looks: degen, stonks, candle and moon. The demo Launchpad wears degen and the demo DEX wears stonks.
- **A free address** at `yourname.latches.fun`.
- **Tools around a launch:** token locks and vesting, liquidity locks, multisend, airdrops and team splits.
- **An MIT-licensed SDK and widgets** to build your own front end.

## What is coming

- **The beta.** The app opens on mainnet, on Base and Robinhood Chain.
- **Fees paid in ETH on buys and sells.** Creators, site owners and the protocol are all paid in the quote currency, whichever way a trade goes.
- **A share of each buy's fee for liquidity providers.**
- **Stock pairs**, with trading hours and a price band.
- **Best-price routing** across venues, with no routing fee on Latch pools.
- **More chains.**

There is no date on this list. When the beta opens, it will be announced on X first.
